MONTOURSVILLE BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dear Visitor:
On behalf of the Montoursville Borough Police Department, I would like to welcome you to the Borough of Montoursville. The Borough employs 5 full time and 6 part time officers and provides Police services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are pro-active in the community as well as in our schools, being involved in the School Resource Officer program and the D.A.R.E. ( Drug Abuse Resistance Education ) program. During the summer months some of our officers patrol by bicycle, which provides a unique interaction with the community.
Our officers are dispatched to calls via the Lycoming County Communications Center. For emergencies you may dial 911. If you find that you need an officer for a call of non-emergency nature, you can reach a telecommunicator at 433-3166. Please use these numbers to contact an officer to report an incident.
The Montoursville Police Department’s administrative office is located at 617 N. Loyalsock Avenue ( the Borough Office). The office is staffed Monday through friday 7:00AM until 3:30PM by our police department clerk, Kathy Sampsell. She can be contacted at (570)368-2488 for any administrative needs that you may encounter as well as leaving a message for a particular officer.
