Montoursville Police Department is announcing a Civil Service Exam for Police Officer. Applications may be found at the Borough Office or on the Montoursville Borough website. Applications are due Friday September 11 at 12PM. The written test will be held at the Borough Office on Saturday September 19 at 10AM.
Requirements for Application: At least 21 years of age, must have a valid driver’s license, must be Act 120 certified or certified by the time of the written test, must have a high school diploma or GED.
The Physical Fitness test will be held at a time to be determined and will consist of an obstacle course. An Oral Exam will also be part of testing. Once a list is finalized, selected applicants will proceed to a background investigation and polygraph.
